Rooftop Villa
Bonifacio Global City - Philippines
Hidden on the roof of a residential building in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, Philippines is this minimalist modern Villa designed for a couple and their two young daughters.
Intent was to be reminescent of modern Japanese interiors with a french twist. Lots of light all around, white and light colored materials for a very calm environment.
We had to keep near 50% of the roof surface empty in order to create a large enough garden to surround the Villa and create that impression of being on a ground floor.
Such layout gives the overall an ureal feeling of the estate floating in the sky. One can totally forget the busy city living below.
